Functional earthing – Why & How<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

Functional earthing and functional bonding of electronic system (often called as isolated earthing \/ clean earthing \/ noiseless earthing \/ separate earth etc.) is to ensure proper functioning of electronics and communicating systems. (defined as earthing<\/a> for purposes other than electrical safety<\/a>). It is created by connecting the functional earth terminal of the equipment to an isolated earthing arrangement, but finally connected to protective earth through a single point.<\/span><\/p>\n

The following videos will explain the method to make a functional earthing and protective earthing in an installation. Technical details for functional earth such as topologies for a typical application and the continuity resistances are not included in the video, but available in our other blogs.<\/span><\/p>\n
